ApparelMagic and Katalyst Technologies announce strategic partnership

ApparelMagic, for 34 years the fashion industry’s leading ERP/PLM/CRM system, has announced a strategic partnership with Katalyst Technologies, Inc., specialists in system integration, onboarding, training and custom application development.

According to ApparelMagic president John Murphy, the new partnership greatly expands benefits for companies in the apparel sector. “Our ApparelMagic Cloud system gives clients total control over customers, styles, orders, inventory, production and accounting. And with Katalyst’s complementary services, companies can become productive even faster, with custom training and implementation programs.”

Katalyst’s services include integration with major big box retailers, along with links to Quickbooks desktop version, third-party EDI providers, SAP and Oracle systems, and a host of additional retailers, 3PL’s, suppliers and services.

For runway, trunk and trade shows, Katalyst’s new Fashion Runway App brings the power of ApparelMagic to iPads and tablets, allowing reps to show their lines, record customer’s favorites, and even build orders right in the field, with full integration to ApparelMagic Cloud’s order management module. It can even be used to create websites for boutiques and other retailers who want to sell a designer’s line through their own branded website.
