Getting Started Part 4: Other Settings

Plugins are third party integrations that work alongside ApparelMagic.<br><br>Watch the short video and click <b>Go to Plugins</b> to continue.

All integrations are listed along the left.<br><br>The <b>Dropbox</b> integration is available on all ApparelMagic Cloud systems, including the Basic plan.<br><br>We’ll choose&nbsp;<b>Dropbox</b>&nbsp;to continue.

Using the Dropbox integration, you can store files including images and PDFs inside of your records, making them easily accessible for your team.&nbsp;<br><br>To set up your Dropbox integration, simply follow the steps on this screen and enter your API token.

Click <b>Save</b> to finish setting up your <b>Dropbox</b>&nbsp;integration.

Other integrations including <b>Authorize</b>, <b>Shopify</b>, <b>ShipStation</b>, <b>NuOrder</b> and <b>Joor</b> are available for users on the Professional or Enterprise plans.<br><br>You can switch plans under <b>Settings &gt; Subscription</b> at any time.<br><br>Let’s return to the <b>Getting Started</b> module.

Click&nbsp;<b>Done</b>&nbsp;to confirm you’ve finished the section. Remember you must mark all sections as done before accessing your system in full.<br>

Next up, we’ll take a look at the&nbsp;<b>Accounting Settings&nbsp;</b>section. Watch the video and click&nbsp;<b>Go to Accounting Settings</b>&nbsp;to continue.

On the Accounting Settings <b>Defaults</b> tab, you can first decide if you would like to use&nbsp;<b>Divisional Accounting</b>.<br><b><br></b>If you use multiple divisions, you can specify specific accounts to use for each division.<br><b><br></b>

Below, Default Accounts have been created for your convenience.&nbsp;You may optionally edit any of these to suit your business.<br><br>Users on Professional and Enterprise plans can request a training session on accounting setup in the Support Center.<br>

Let’s look at the Accounting Periods tab next.<br>

Click the Create <b>Accounting Periods</b> button at the bottom of the screen to continue.

Enter your accounting <b>Start Year</b> in this field. You may select any past or present year. Click <b>Run Command</b> to continue.

<b>Save</b> your work and continue on to the <b>Price Breaks</b> tab.

Here you can add discounts for orders of bulk items. <br><br>Price breaks are optional and only need to be specified if your business intends to use them.<br><br>Click the<b> +</b> button at the bottom of the page to continue.

For our example, we’ve added a discount for orders of 25 units or more. Click <b>Ok</b> to continue.

Save your work and continue on to the <b>Currencies</b> tab.

USD is listed by default, but we may create multiple currencies for printouts.<br><br>Click <b>+ </b>at the bottom of the screen to continue.

In this window we can set a <b>Name</b> for the currency, a <b>Symbol</b>, and an exchange <b>Rate</b>. We can also switch this to the default currency.<br><br>Click <b>Ok</b> to continue.

Click <b>Save</b> at the bottom of the screen to save any additional currencies you have created.<br><br>Next, we’ll return to the <b>Getting Started</b> module.

Click&nbsp;<b>Done</b>&nbsp;to confirm you’ve finished the section. Remember you must mark all sections as done before accessing your system in full.

We’ll now look at <b>Manufacturing Settings</b>. <br><br>Manufacturing is available for users on the Professional or Enterprise plans. To switch plans, go to <b>Settings &gt; Subscription</b>.<br><br>Watch the video before clicking <b>Go to Manufacturing Settings</b>.

On the Manufacturing Settings <b>Processes</b> tab, you’ll find all processes you may specify when doing production in ApparelMagic.<br><br>

If your business is on the Basic plan or does not intend to use manufacturing in ApparelMagic Cloud, you do not need to make any modifications in this section.<br><br>Click a process to edit. We’ll select&nbsp;<b>Cut</b>.<br>

These processes are labels and can be as specific or general as you like. For example, you could even use numbered steps.<br><br>We’ll keep this process as is and select <b>Cancel</b>.

You may also use the <b>+</b> button at the bottom of the page to create additional manufacturing processes.<br><br>Now we will return to the <b>Getting Started</b> module

Click&nbsp;<b>Done</b>&nbsp;to confirm you’ve finished the section. Remember you must mark all sections as done before accessing your system in full.

Finally, we’ll take a look at the&nbsp;<b>API Settings&nbsp;</b>section. <br><br>API is available to users on the Enterprise plan. To switch plans, go to <b>Settings &gt; Subscription</b>.<br><br>Watch the video and click&nbsp;<b>Go to API Settings</b>&nbsp;to continue.

You can view and manage your API key on this page.<br><br>If you do not intend to use API access, you do not need to do anything in this section, and you can always come back if that changes.<br><br>To create new <b>Tokens</b>, let’s go to the Tokens tab.

You can create a new token by clicking the <b>+</b> button at the bottom of the screen.

Add a description to the token for your reference.<br><br>The token code is not modifiable in this window, but may be copied and sent to developers.<br><br>Click Ok to create the token.

Your token will be added to the list. You may delete a token at any time by clicking the red X button to the right of each token.<br><br>Click <b>Save</b> to save your work.

We will now return to the&nbsp;<b>Getting Started</b>&nbsp;section to mark our last section as&nbsp;<b>Done</b>.

Click&nbsp;<b>Done</b>&nbsp;to confirm you’ve finished the section. All sections should now be marked <b>Done</b> with a green check to the right of each title.

You have now finished setting up your system and can access your full system. We’ll take a look at the other modules of ApparelMagic Cloud in the final Getting Started interactive tutorial. Click here to continue.
