After allocating units to the order, we will continue the fulfillment process through Picking, Packing, and Shipping. The next step is to create a pick ticket.
A Pick Ticket is a document that can be created for each order showing the products and unit count to be picked from inventory and prepared for shipment.
This is used in a warehouse for workers to choose, or “pick” the necessary goods and pack them for shipment. Pick tickets can be retained and referenced as receipt of shipment. Click Orders to begin.
We’ll select Order 1097 for our example.
Click Actions at the bottom of the screen.
Click Pick to generate a pick ticket.
Confirm that you would like to pick by clicking Yes.
Click OK to continue.
You will be forwarded to the Pick Tickets tab. Click the pick ticket you created to continue.
We will now print the pick ticket. Click Share.
Select Print from the menu.
You may print or save the pick ticket PDF and send to your warehouse for their use. Click Close to continue.
Also available through the Share button, you may create a Packing List. A Packing List can be included with your goods when shipping to a customer to show what all items are included.Click Packing List to continue.
The packing list shows all goods to be included. Click Close to continue.
Now that we have a Pick List and a Packing List, we are ready to send our shipment out.Click Fulfillment in the left-hand navigation bar to continue.
Click Shipping on the submenu.
This page shows all shipments you have created. Click + New at the bottom of the page to create a new shipment.
Using the Customer field, enter your customer’s name.
Click Finish to continue.
The Overview page shows all open Pick Tickets for your customer. You may add multiple pick tickets to one Shipment, allowing you to invoice them together. We will learn more about invoicing later.We’ll select our current pick ticket and click Save.
Next, we’ll go to the Packing tab.
Using the Select Pick Ticket drop-down menu, choose the pick ticket you would like to pack.
We’ll choose our current pick ticket.
Next, we’ll click Add Box to create a new box to ship using.
A box will appear in the Box Num column.
In the table at left, you’ll see total quantities for each unit as well as how many units are unboxed.If all units can fit into one box. simply click the arrow on the header line next to Unboxed to add all units to a box.
If there are too many units for one box, you may create additional boxes and box SKUs individually using the arrows next to their Unboxed quantity.
After boxing all items, notice all units will appear on the Items in Box #1 table at right.Alternatively, you have the option to use a barcode scanner to scan each item as it is placed into the box.Click Save before continuing.
Next, we’ll move on to the Review Shipment tab.
This tab allows you to check boxes for accuracy before shipping. You’ll see all boxes for the shipment listed with their weights and all included SKUs and their quantities.
