Introduction to ApparelMagic Cloud
For best results, please use the most recent version of your web browser.
After logging in, the first page you see is called the Dashboard. Here, you’ll see an overview of your business.On the top bar along the page, you’ll see a selection of key information about your business.
Below, graphs will show relevant data. Let’s add one using the Add Widget button at the bottom of the screen.
A variety of graphs are available. We’ll choose Sales This Week simply by clicking it.
Click Close to return to your dashboard.
Your new graph will appear on your dashboard. Simply click the X at the widget’s top right corner to delete.
Next, we’ll go to the left-hand navigation bar and select Calendar from the Home submenu.
The calendar shows your business’s events by Month, Week, or Day. Click Events to continue.
This will keep track of all events you have been assigned in the system. We’ll learn how to create events later on. Click Notes to continue.
You may use the Notes page however you see fit, for example as a casual jot pad to store information you’ll use temporarily.
Click Products on the left-hand navigation bar to continue.
Products are divided into two groups. The first, Styles, consists of finished goods that your business intends to sell.The second, Materials, are the raw materials used to manufacture your finished goods.First, select Styles from the submenu.
This screen is a directory of all styles. Using the sorting and searching features at the top of the page. You can easily find specific products.Let’s use the Style field to search for a specific item.
We’re looking for an item with skirt in the Style Number, so we’ll search using that term here.
When you click Enter, only products with skirt in the Style Number will be visible.Click View All on the bottom toolbar to remove your search constraints.
Clicking the field titles along the top bar also allows you to sort your items in ascending or descending order. Click Price to try it out.
The styles will rearrange into ascending order by price on the first click.Click Price again to continue.
On the second click, styles will be sorted by price in descending order. Single click a style to select it.
Next, click the Actions button at the bottom of the screen to continue.
Here, you have several options.You may delete the stye using Delete or copy the style data into a new style by clicking Clone.Note that you may only delete records when there are no transactions involving them.
The Advanced Search button can be very helpful to find and sort styles.Click Search on the bottom toolbar.
This searching method allows you to use Is/Not keywords.For example, we’ll look for all styles with skirt in the style number by entering into the Style field.
All styles with skirt in the style number will be shown. Click Is in the Advanced Search window to show only items without skirt in the style number.
Only items without skirt in the style number are now shown.You may also search for items with multiple fields. For example, we’d like to look for items with skirt in the style number from Winter 2018. We’ll select Not on the style field.
This will revert the styles shown to just styles with skirt in the style number.Next we’ll enter Winter 2018 in the Season field.
Now, we’ll see only styles with skirt in the style number and Winter 2018 as the season.
Click Clear to clear your search.
Click Close to continue.
Next, click Options on the bottom toolbar.
Here, you may add or remove table columns. For example, we’ll add a Cost column.
You’ll see the column you added appears on the main screen. Click the name a second time to remove it.
Columns can also be rearranged by dragging and dropping the column names on the Table Options list into the desired order.
Next, we’ll move onto Materials on the left-hand navigation bar.
On this screen you’ll find all raw materials listed similar to how finished are organized on the Styles page.Click Orders on the left-hand navigation bar to continue.
The Orders page contains all orders and their respective statuses.Click Options on the bottom toolbar to see what new options are available for these records.
You may sort by a number of additional column headersThese options are different in each of the modules, making searching and sorting records quick and efficient.
If you ever need help while using ApparelMagic, click the ? button on the top bar.
Here, you’ll have the option to Enable Quick Help, a smart window that shows you ApparelMagic functions as you hover over them, or enter the Support Center, a source of information via KnowledgeBase or support ticket.
