When is the official shutdown date for Stocky?
Shopify indicates Stocky will no longer be available after August 31, 2026. (Shopify Help Center)
Will I still be able to access Stocky after the shutdown date?
Yes, after August 31, 2026, Shopify says you’ll have read-only access to Stocky for a limited period, but you won’t be able to use it to manage inventory.
What Happens To Historical Stocky Records?
Your historical Stocky data will still be there after August 31, 2026, and Shopify says you’ll have read-only access for a limited time so you can view those records. However, that history won’t automatically transfer into Shopify, so you should export anything you need to keep before the read-only access period ends.
Can I Still Install Or Reinstall Stocky?
No, Stocky was delisted from the Shopify App Store on February 2, 2026. If you uninstall the app or move to a new store, you cannot reinstall it
Which data moves automatically from Stocky to Shopify Admin
Very little moves automatically. Current Inventory Levels and Product Vendors (found in the “Vendor” field in Shopify) are already in your Admin. However, Historical Purchase Orders, Stocktakes, and Supplier-specific details (like lead times and case pack sizes) will not move. You must manually export these via Stocky’s report builder.
Can I Export Supplier Data From Stocky?
Shopify informs suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky. (Shopify Help Center)
Will Stocky API Integrations Keep Working After Sunset?
No, all Stocky APIs will be deactivated on August 31, 2026. If you have custom-built dashboards or 3PL integrations that pull data from Stocky, they will break and must be rebuilt to point to the Shopify Admin API.
Are All Shopify Inventory Features At Full Parity With Stocky?
No. Shopify’s built-in inventory tools don’t fully match everything Stocky does, and Shopify advises merchants to transition workflows off Stocky before it sunsets. Some Stocky-specific workflows and historical reporting may require process changes, exports, or a third-party app depending on what you rely on.
What are the recommended third-party alternatives?
Shopify encourages merchants to move core workflows into Shopify’s built in inventory tools where possible. If you need a more complete replacement for Stocky, especially for purchasing and more advanced inventory operations, a commonly considered third party option is ApparelMagic.
Does ApparelMagic Support Forecasting And Replenishment?
Yes. ApparelMagic highlights forecasting and replenishment capabilities in its inventory experience.
Does ApparelMagic Support Multi-Channel Workflows?
